28. All jokes aside, you have to ask yourself. How did they get to the point where they banned this book. What happened? Exactly? Well what happened? Was they just did a search for the word gay and banned a book because that word came back. It shows that no one bothered to actually read the book. It shows that the people who should be supposedly screening books to make sure they are safe for childhood consumption supposedly aren’t doing that. They are trying to ban books based on other criteria. That should be the argument that people are making. People should be asking a very tough question. Why would you buy a new book? Just because it has the word gay somewhere in the book? Why aren’t you double checking the books you think should be banned? Perhaps the biggest question of all have you made any other mistakes? No no no an even bigger question should you be in charge of this type of program? Because apparently you are not doing a good job?
