6. I am a week late, but this was a good, fine interview, good to listen to. As for a related suggestion I would suggest trying to interview professor Ilan Pappé, who might still be in England, or elsewhere in Britain, after exiled his Jewish family and himself from Israel. He was very solid in suggesting a one state solution between this current state of Israel and Palestine. I don't have a link for him but it should not be difficult to find, I think anyway.

Imagine you are on your own land and someone who says they are going to live on your land and help those the say committed genocide against them do harm to you (Indigenous, American Indian) and your response is?….. As to Black anti-Seminism: It is certainly a mainstay of capitalism to keep people at the bottom seeing someone who is either one rung up or one rung down as "the enemy" while the guys at the top who actually made and maintain the ladder and put us all on it, go scott free. And the "goal" under American capitalism was and is to "become white," by which we mean part of the guys running the ladder. (regardless of their color, or gender, for that matter.) There is a book called, "How the Irish Became White," that details this. Irish people were consistently portrayed in the British and US media of the time as "a different race, akin to Black Africans." Insulting drawings were included to show this "similarity." (And we have all seen the insulting drawings of Jewish people with a similar goal–to show them as somehow lesser.) So Irish people worked hard to "become white" and were largely successful. I think for Jews that has been a harder transition, not at all a done deal.

Videos should include images, but from what I can tell, these Marc Steiner shows show nothing, only being verbal, in which case I would simply prefer to use a radio. It would be much more fitting. The topics often are such that we should have visuals and the Marc Steiner show seems to have totally abandoned this practice, so just switch to radio. Show what you talk about, or just switch to using radio.

22. It’s all a question priorities.
    If one’s priority is ‘just us,’ one will support Israeli exceptionalism.
    If one’s priority is ‘justice,’ one must oppose Israeli exceptionalism, AND
    Any other kind of exceptionalism for that matter.
    Equal treatment of all is a hallmark of just societies, while,
    Special treatment for good and/or ill are the purview of unjust ones.

23. Chomsky believes in one state too and so do I. Yes I am (Jewish) Big job and it has to be done. There might not be room any more for any Jewish person who wants to live there. The justice and peace is the thing and some people will have to STEP ASIDE. Many Palestinians have overwhelming claims on former homes which need to be addressed. There MUST be a way to resolve this. Judaism is a tradition of MERCY and must remain so.
