Police HIJACK helicopter ambulance for aerial surveillance – Everything Law and Order Blog

Documents obtained by PAR reveal how an air ambulance (medevac) service has been used repeatedly to fly surveillance missions over the city of Baltimore, raising serious questions about the militarization of American police and the dystopian consequences of law enforcement’s growing civic influence. On this week’s episode of PAR, hosts Taya Graham and Stephen Janis take a closer look at the decision by Maryland State Police to purchase tactical helicopters, which has had troubling implications for a system tasked with providing a critical public health service.

  1. Hey let me get something straight I am aware I am under 24 7 days a week surveillance they even got citizens calling telling them everything I do and say look I don't give a flying fuck after this country called the united states of America raped, tormented,me, murdered me multiple times police shot at me and tried to kill me for no reason I wasn't doing anything I will never for this country or the fact everybody scared of the C.I.A GIVE ME A BREAK Y'ALL GOING TO WAR WITH THEM SOON ANYWAY BUT WHEN I SEE EVERY THING THEY DID TO ME (IT'S) I'M WAITING ON THEM TO KIDNAPP ME I'M READY AND SO IS THE (HAMMER)!!

  2. If I wasn't all messed up over the cops I've asked you out girl since I know I'm disabled for life I'm useless so alright but you're beautiful and I like to have you on my case

  3. Baltimore must not have Critical budget finance management analysis or they are qualified or not doing their job. Is crime being committed more by law enforcement than of criminals? Great exposure Taya and Steve! 😁

  4. And just like armored patrol vehicles they currently receive, wait until the Federal Government starts giving cops Apache Gunships being replaced with newer and more powerful models.

  5. Cops are contributing to the problem 🤨 well I guess if they didn't arrest so many people when they witness them doing some sort of crime then this would be less of a problem. 🤪

  6. For all of you on here with all of your total police hatred… Then anything that you need from a fire EMS or police type of emergency then you don’t get to call 911 just handle it on your own. I want police reforms that makes sense and are practical and across-the-board are fair in their application. However I’m not willing to throw every police department and every police officer under the bus because that’s ridiculous. Change the system for the better and punish those that deserve it. But the overwhelming majority of men and women that do this job do it honorably and just want to return home to their families without any additional danger or drama. A lot of you in here need to grow up.

  7. As an EMS professional… I think that the title of this video alone shows that it’s a little bit extreme on its bias. One of our local area ambulances in the central part of the state would cooperate with local police when they had to look for a suspect on the loose or something like that. They did not have their own aircraft so the medical helicopter would go up in the area that they were searching for a suspect and use their high intensity night sun underneath the aircraft to assist the police. The agreement was that as soon as they had a medical call they were to completely break free of the police assistance and returned back to the air ambulance operating mode. I have no problem with that and no EMS professional or police officers that I’ve talked to has had an issue with that.

  8. I suggest you to investigate and make a report about the big business in prisons and who is behind it.
A minute phone call it cost like $3, snacks that in any vending machine cost $0.75, it cost like $2.

  9. Police are a scurge not a protection. Supose to serve the people, not profile them.
Thank the dirty people doing against our constitution laws.
    Police make their own law

  10. So we're spending over a half a billion millions and millions and there's people starving all around the world and when there's lower crime now than ever how disgusting is this they're turning this into a war zone it's sick #dontfundthepolice

  11. What will they think of next? Your guess is as good as mine; but don't be surprised if they don't start installing spy cameras in your bathrooms so that they can make sure you are not committing any crimes when defecating or taking a bath. You might just happen to break the law by accident. Stolen toilet paper, or maybe you have some contraband hidden somewhere in your privates. This is the sign of a country that is imploding on itself.

  12. Good luck doing confined area landings with that chopper. Less likely to be able to respond to some emergencies.

  13. The 8 cops whose photos are shown at 1:48 should be in prison for a LONG time, and TRNN has shown these photos in the past. Put those cons away and throw away the keys. But the rest of this report, about police taking over what should be medical service, is badly absurd. WAR ZONE USA! It must be very unnerving. I definitely hope that it doesn't happen where I reside. There already are people suffering from depression and they need to be helped, but we also don't want to cause this unfortunate situation to become worse, more numerous.
