  1. @highlighted the warm period became known as the Medieval Warm Period, and the cold period was called the Little Ice Age , the Little Ice Age which ended only in the middle to late nineteenth century." It said temperatures in the "late tenth to early thirteenth centuries (about AD 950-1250)The warm period became known as the Medieval Warm Period, and the cold period was called the Little Ice Age (LIA). However, that view was questioned by other researchers; the IPCC First Assessment Report of 1990 discussed the "Medieval Warm Period around 1000 AD (which may not have been global) and the Little Ice Age which ended only in the middle to late nineteenth century." 2. Wish it were so, if there was a profit motive I could see it but I think the new administration would be too blind and bought off to see that as a possibility even then

  4. Michael Politz, has it exactly right the evidence should tell anyone that Biden won't fix anything and his record tells you that.

  5. They can, they have the power to do it.
    They won't.
Everybody needs to move on and stop expecting them to do things they promise they never will do.
You're all going to go out there and vote for them all over again and then complain because this already horrible life that we are in the middle of right now is going to get worse. Imagine that. 2021 being the worst year than 20/20. But hey you go ahead and vote for Biden because he's a better man than Trump. But let me tell you the only difference between Biden and Trump is Trump doesn't know enough to keep the quiet parts quiet. Biden is Trump without the Twitter account.

  6. This a rhetorical question, right?
It won't be news to anyone with half a brain containing a modicum of knowledge about biden's record that he'll do absolutely nothing to combat climate change issues in the Global South, or for that matter anywhere else.
Didn't he say that nothing will fundamentally change if he's elected, or did I imagine it?
He's totally and gleefully in bed with the forces who are destroying the environment. Are these people serious, and do they think we're stupid?

  7. Neither of these people are capable of changing the course of the massive institution of global capitalism that's rushing us headlong into an apocalypse. And the global South can't rely on the leadership of the global North any more than it could in the past centuries – the leadership always arrived with the language of force, always carried exploitation under the guise of development, and always lead to disaster. Native Americans are already living in a post-apocalyptic world, dwindling under ongoing tyranny. Global capitalism threatens the rest of the planet's population with the same fate. Our only chance for survival is to end it; Joe Biden is no ally in this. He's just a kinder, gentler enemy.

  8. Never mention Russia when talking about Trump — it makes you sound like a useless neolib; and eliminates the NEOLIBERAL policies that made a desperate nation turn to Trump.
