  1. A non-treaty, illegal, money laundering destination is a major conflict of interest. All Canada does is stone-wall. As a Canadian, I approve their decision.

  2. Looks like Trudeau is doing for Harper what Harper wouldn't be allowed to do as Obama did for Bush what Bush wouldn't be allowed to do. Subtle days of Occidental Supremacy less hidden.

  3. Did the CBC ever recognize this international campaign ? I think not. Not surprising. Anyhow, as a Canadian, I agree with excluding another US lapdog and Canada sometimes had some moral courage in the past, but really does not now.

  4. this is a structure problem, aka, this is how capitalist democracy works.

Governments in democracy need votes from their corporations at home, there is no vote in foreigners, so their interests are not considered when governments in capitalistic democracy make decisions. To foreigners, capitalist democracy is bad news and worst news if capitalist democracy is powerful, like the US and UK.

  5. Canada is definitely not a liberal peace loving democracy, the United Nations openly criticized and chided Canada for their discriminatory treatment towards Indigenous and Black people. Canada doesn't deserve to sit on the United Nations Security Council

  6. As long as they’re a pupped of the USA and supporting the sanction politic of the USA… they don’t deserve this seat.
    Respect to the consoles decision.

  7. Ireland has been much more deserving and will be much better for world peace and human rights for Palestinians.

  8. Don't forget about what canada has done to Honduras, Venezuela, Bolivia & their peoples.

I hope this might wake up a few more citizens here at home but the truth is that too many of us are distracted by the day to day hustle to even notice any of this.
99.9% of the people I speak with are unaware of canada's abhorrent actions.

I see more people at food festivals than I see at protests.

Taking into account the state of our "news" outlets and school curriculums, I have trouble finding hope for a positive outcome.

  9. PREACH. As a Canadian I agree 100%. We should be speaking up against dictatorial regimes. The Canadian gov't's decision to recognize Juan Guido and his coup in Venezuela as the "legitimate government" is absolutely unacceptable.

  10. Canada screwed up by continuing to hold the VP of Huawei in detention awaiting extradition proceedings to US. It's going to lose that case to China. The rest of the world sees that as Canada's being owned by the US. Happy Canada Day!
