As a german I can't agree at all. He is simply lies to often. And in regards to the Euro Bonds. Think about a friend who all the time is in dept to his limit. No he comes into crises, sure you would help but only if he is not wasting this money again and follows rules.
There is no such thing as german control over the EU. But blaming germany evertime it is not working well for others simply does not work.
This website shows it very fine. The german dept is now also to 71% but declining. The next years it will not decline because of missing taxes. (by the way we pay the second highest tax on the planet)
But the more important thing is, take a look at the dept clock of the countrys now asking for the euro bonds. There is no way that this is healthy and some kind of united dept should not be allowed until those dept do not still keep rising.

I'm incredibly disappointed that 'The Real News Network' would engage in this type of story. I had come to trust your objectivity in reporting, but this is skirting on the edge of the general fear mongering and distraction that most news sources are pushing. How about a focus on the ACTUAL Infection Fatality Rates (instead of case fatality rates). There are a number of important and undiscussed items regarding Cover-19 and associated lockdowns and you are managing to ignore them all. Please, I implore you to do a better job as I've come to expect from you.
Testing kits are not scarce at all.
There are now roughly 400.000 tests a week conducted while the capacity are 800.000 tests. The RKI has already lowered the criteria who can be tested. The test capacity will be however increased even further.

The medical teams are also not overworked. Only in some hospitals all ICU beds are used (red in the below map).

And not that also hospitals which have only ICU beds without ventilators are shown in red.
Oh no Germany is doing much better than anyone else and they get more than 99.9999% of their electricity from solar and wind too!
Funny how when German government does the daily broadcast, it is for informing citizens and is a healthy sign of a functioning "democracy"[sic] but when Cuba or Venezuela does it, it is propaganda!!!
…okay, this is just dishonest…."health insurance is good if you have it"…yes, and 99,9% of Germans have it. And the relative small group which hasn't (btw, did he just quote the estimate of people without a permanent place to live as people without health insurance? Not correct, those groups are overlapping, you can be officially homeless and still have health insurance – IE everyone who lives in a shelter counts as "homeless") is partly covered by other programs.
For "real news" this was a whole bunch of half-truth, misrepresentation with some outright lies peppered in-between.
Just to list what Germany has done for other countries since the crisis started:
1. It has gifted ventilators to multiple countries.
2. It has taken patients from France and the Netherlands to treat them.
3. It's Bundeswehr has flown out Italian patients for German hospitals.
4. Speaking of which, the Bundeswehr has flown more Corona-related missions than the military of any other NATO country.
5. Germany has not just brought its own citizens home, it also helped other countries to bring their citizens back.
6. It has send a team of experts to Spain to help out.
7. It has invested millions in research and development of drugs and vaccines which are supposed to be for the benefit of all.
8. It has already agreed to spend a lot of money to help other countries back to their feet.
Oh, and it has also helped the Ukraine to get control of the fire near Chernobyl which might create a nuclear cloud, taken in underage refugees (just a few, but a few is better than none at all), and has in general done its best to keep the EU together. The same EU which is suddenly the reason why the EU states don't overbid each other and have quite a sway when it comes to sourcing PPE.
German speaking English would have been clearer than an Englishman.
If you say Germany, the Netherlands and other countries block Euro Bonds you have to say why. And do not tell the audience Germany does not help, that´s a disgrace and a right-wing argument. These Bonds are against the Rom Treaty every country signed."Nobody must bear the debt of others". Italy and Greece can borrow money, but they wont because of the higher interest rate they must pay, and they became monetary help from the EU council already. Your guest makes a lot of accusations which are partly true, but not all of em and partly unfounded. I don´t like such interviews, it´s not really informative. He should be precisely state what he´s accusing the government of, not guessing. I have plenty accusations against my government and I know why bad things happen, that does not mean that they are not doing good work at that moment where everywhere is shortage of PPE and tests. By the way "BOSCH" developed a COVID-19 test which is fast, has a accuracy of 95% and can detect also other viruses as well.
Germany is doing good job, but like every other country, they also lie about their numbers.

C-19 is a planned- demic. It is a heinous crime against humanity. The numbers are fudged, and even if you went with the numbers they report C-19 is less deadly than the seasonal flu. The test has an 80% false positive rate. This is all a scam.
Just to clear thing up regarding Eurobonds, the idea behind Eurobonds is to have all members, especially those with good finances to be liable for the debt of other countries without a limit. In other words, if Italy is in debt the rest of the EU is liable for the debt of Italy, beyond the already existing protecting financial umbrella that has been established during the Greece crisis, in other words sharing the debt of Italy. While the umbrella is a topic for another debate itself, no sane leader will have his country being accountable for the financial or economic incompetence of another member state. Just imagine the USA is being 100% accountable for the debt of Mexico, that would be insane, so is the Italian approach. Help and assistance in a time of pandemic crisis is one thing, and no one argues about that, but the Eurobonds are an entirely different thing and would set a precedence for the future and it is absolutely understandable that Germany and the Netherlands blocked it, otherwise states like Greece, Italy or Spain with their catasrophic economy and unemployment rates would see no reason to fix their house.
Don't praise my government (Germany) we are doing alright now and we have a good healthcare system BUT we reacted way to late. Carnival was still allowed in February and football games where also going on even es we should have know by then that COVID-19 is already in the country. And also we had way to less PPE for healthcare and other essential worker.

Germany is not opposed against financial aid from the EU. In fact there is already a fund for countries that are suffering a lot from the crisis. However it is true that Germany is blocking Corona bonds along with other countries, which I think is wrong but the situation is not as black and white as he makes it seem.
At least we think so, that is enough.
