11. Riker's houses 8,000 inmates!!??? 😳 Trying to wrap my mind around that
    alone is overwhelming. With this pandemic the inmates now must be understandably terrified as well as their spouses, families and loved ones.

    I fully support the inmates strike for the reasonable demand of soap and cleaning wipes. And the
    correctional guards need to be fired as well as the warden.

16. I feel for this people because it's not going to be easy as prisoner in this type of environment. Everyone are in close quarters so its definitely difficult for them and scary. The people who are in isolation are the only ones that are safe.

17. One of the concerns I have is if you release these people where do they go ..are they released in to the public or into another jail.. Obviously they are there for a reason.. You don't want a whole prison population in your neighborhood you know what kind of danger you would be put in that community in.. They deftly need supplies but don't need to be released into the community..even if their not charged yet that means they committed a crime but are waiting to be charged they are still criminals. Just move them to a safe haven where they could still be locked up but able to be social distanced..send supplies now ..maybe some one could start a go fund me for the rikers island prison population..
