Mr. Du30 Americans did not destroy the Philippines actually it was saved by Americans against Japanese during WWII. Ending the VFA agreement, Philippines is the losers. Losing lots of money and it’s a savings on the American side. Leila DeLima was found guilty by the supreme court for receiving drug money in exchange for her giving protection to a druglord. That druglord confessed to it corroborating the story of DeLima's driver. Leftist allies of Delima distorted the story and label it as a political oppression which is bullshit.
Does Duterte hate the US? From his mouth, he had a grudge about America because past history where Americans have killed a couple of Moro people, but this shouldn't be an issue if the Americans have comported themselves properly with Duterte.

1. When Duterte says still a mayor, a CIA operative stayed at a hotel in Davao refusing cleaners to fix his room. One day there was an explosion that left the CIA operative wounded and losing a leg in that accident. Duterte came to investigate only to be brushed aside by an official coming from Manila with an American attache and whisk that CIA operative away without any explanation whatsoever.
2. When Duterte ran for President, the US ambassador meddled in Philippine elections by criticizing Duterte's handling of Davao city. By the way, Davao city was once a lawless place and was transformed into a peaceful and bustling city by Duterte. This is why he won despite the US ambassador's denigration. There was also a dossier accidentally left by that outgoing US ambassador detailing how to pressure and oust Duterte when Duterte won the presidency.
3. A leftist senator barred the sale of arms to Duterte when he needed the arms to combat muslim rebels who ambushed and killed police officers earlier.
4. 2 US leftist senators demanded the release of De lima and in pressuring so, banned all Filipino officials involved in handling DeLima's case. The last straw was having Senator Bato Delarosa's US visa rejected.
Duterte calls this an American arrogance and gross disrespect to local Philippine governance. Now you can see the reason why, so fix your news and make it complete and accurate!
