Students Say the Cost of Underfunding Schools Is Too High

   In 2017 Baltimore schools received just under $17,000 per student. That's higher than many schools across the country. The problems in the Baltimore schools are not caused by a lack of funding. Pretending that the failure is about money is a distraction. A real investigation into the failure of the district is required. If people truly care about the future of the kids then they will dig until the real causes are found.

I once read a brochure printed by the state of Alaska that said one of the prime indicators used to determine the number of prison cells that will be needed in the future is the current education level of third graders. More education = less prison, and education is way cheaper both in the short term and in the long term.

I would be following the money trail from the state to the School Districts, School Districts are shady AF, District Staff giving themselves huge bonuses at the end of the year, middle of the year etc., look at them brand new cars…checkout the equiptment building services department purchase, how many books, computers, funding for field trips, athletic equiptment, etc. could have been purchased had the mismanagement of funds and embezzling been stopped, sooner.

12. Too brief, imo, but still a fine short report. I wish these young people WELL. Didn't work out well for me when I was young, ok, but I wish these people well, good success. I don't know everything that I lost, was more-or-less cheated out of, but do know enough in this regard and don't wish the same for others. The society NEEDS real justice, but when that will happen is " beyond me ", not being able to guess when, or if, it'll come to BE. Nonetheless, I wish these young adults well.

Most of you are completely out of control, further contribute to the fact that there's an understandable teacher shortage accordingly, and you lose your minds and get all surprised when a cop has to drag you out of the classroom. Who in their right minds would pay for that?

They spend millions of dollars on Armored Police Vehicles and Paramilitary equipment for Police and then they wonder why inner-city Black young males are 90% more likely to go to Prison than College. 6 generations of dysfunctional families and poverty should make Black Folk sick to their stomach.
