  1. Scotland wants to be part of this charade ?……………..State The European Union is in a desperate situation: EU powerhouse Germany on the brink of recession, Deutsche Bank all but bankrupt, civil unrest throughout the EU countries, anti-EU sentiment rising, high unemployment, €100 billion plan to close polluting companies that will create more unemployment, countries openly rebelling against EU laws, loss of income from the UK, Le Pen out-polling Macron, etc… I don't think that the future of the European Union looks rosy. Scotland must think the EU will pay THEM to be in it lol. The EU would strip them of ALL assets and you pay for the priveledge. If Scoyland is all about the MONEY forget it.

  2. I couldn't be happier as a voter of the union and then voter of Brexit then a voter to protect my Brexit vote.

Signed, a Scot who's common and popular opinion you left out in your one sided report.

  3. They had their chance for freedom. The Scottish sheep chose the yoke in a vote. Let them wear it with the pride they deserve. All the formerly colonized people who literally fought for their freedom and won it are laughing at these crying sheeple who literally voted to stay enslaved. Stew in that bitter broth for the next 100 years as your Master declared you will not be allowed BY THEM to vote again.

  4. Do it Scotland.
Then Northern Ireland should join up with the Republic of Ireland to form a unified Ireland. And, coincidentally, automatically become part of the EU, since ROI is already part of the EU.
Then, since Scots and Irish are two tribes of Celts, maybe they should form an alliance, and see if they can get Scotland back into the EU as an equal partner with the United Ireland.
    Think about it.

  5. We give England over £50 billion and the block Grant give us back on average £30 billion and then say Scotland is subsidised we need out for the English saying well f off Scotland mabey you should make for England becoming independent it will make it easier for us

  7. I'm not from Britain, so I don't have a dog in this fight, but I think Brexit is going to cause a lot more problems than solutions – particularly when it comes to Scotland and Northern Ireland's interests. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see both fight for independence from England.

  8. This is the end folks. As soon as they start fighting THE MAN will lose his grip of power. Their lies will be brought to the light and the world will condemn them. No more benefit of the doubt for theirs and extreme justice for ours. Then god will exact his vengeance.

  9. Surely the politicians that were championing Brexit should be all in favour of devolution. The Scottish people have as much right to divorce from an institution that rules them as the UK have. When parents divorce, it is quite normal for the court to ask the children whom they would prefer to have custody !

  10. Scotland voted No to independence because we were assured of our place in the eu. Now England has stabbed us in the back and it’s time to leave the uk.

  11. I have a grandmother born in Edinburgh Scotland. Sexist UK law requires one parent or one grandfather for citizenship. Independent Scottish law says one parent or grandparent to qualify for citizenship. Right now I'm a US/Canadian dual citizen. I don't want to be stuck in North America. I've never been to the place where most of my ancestors came from. My name translates to (David) Beloved (Andrew) Warrior (Walters) Commander of the Armies.

  12. Over the Ages, Scots fought for independence/sovereignty, yet today many want to surrender it to the EU.

Their ancestors are rolling in the their graves.

Adam Smith never said, and the laws of Economics don't support:
"The surrender of sovereignty is required for prosperity, and free trade"

  13. Scotland already has a level of independence from England. So it's not like we're slaves to the English. The ONLY way it would work is if we get to keep the oil, what's left of it, and do the Norwegian thing, which we're entirely capable of. BUT failing that, Scotland could find herself short of cash. So, approach with caution. Politicians say "Don't worry! We'll sort it out" But will they??

  14. Independence requires you to run your own Country. Joining the EU does not fit the term "independence". To be controlled by an outside authority over your land hardly sounds like freedom. It is possible they could not meet the terms to join (EU) on it's own merit. If they went the way of Iceland I would be in favour of it.

  15. > United Kingdom drops out of EU.
    > Scotland … drops out of United Kingdom.
    > Wales … ait I'ma head out too.
    > United Kingdom devolves into England
    > (stolen) Ireland, is forgotten …
