2. Let them attack her. She's right, "plain and simple". There surely a lot of people who realize this or who can. I wish her well. She, her generation, have a lot more years to live than I do, and I grew up starting age 5, if not earlier with local waterway pollution being a real problem; now aged 62 1/2, to be 63 next March, 2020. I've known of toxic pollution my entire life, iow. There was nothing I could do about this as a child, so it became "just" a part of life, but as I aged, I acquired a different view point and am damn angry about this crap. 9. Used to be there was a more or less sane "right". They believed in things like the freedom to exercise rights, so long as doing so didn't impinge on other people's rights. They believed in science and rationalism, and culture and education. They believed in fair taxation or much fairer taxation. "Climate change"; like "environment" (or #MeToo in another context) can be very politically ambiguous. People defend "climate change" or "environment" while they'll balk at demonstrating for/supporting a real progressive, a real leftist agenda tackling really serious political and social issues… that could indeed be very effective in pushing against climate change- inducing policies. "Struggle against climate change" used as controlled opposition in short, so that people don't need to reason and question themselves further. Or used to suck up to smooth, hypocritical Democratic politicians or fundraisers: did or did not Obama open twice the Arctic for drilling? Was he or was he not the president who saw the most nuclear warheads produced during his term, while first promising to get rid of them? etc.
