21. This video reminds me of something that's not generally talked about. Venezuela was actively combating the IMF through various agreements such as Petrocaribe. This not only liberates the countries from Western creditors, giving the governments an actual chance to develop infrastructure, but it also made them all less reliant on US dollars, which decreases demand for US dollars and debt, and in turn weakens the USD.
