Bernie Sanders Takes Aim at the Pathology of the For-Profit Criminal Justice System

2. Our local jail automatically charges you a $30 fee to handle any cash you may have had when arrested. So if you have less than $30 they just keep it! Thieves!

3. Poverty to prison to profit, profit for the wealthy perpetrators of the crime that is poverty–the impoverishers–wealth is the crime of all crimes.

4. My sister’s daughter got married to the wrong type of person. She is in prison because of her association with her husband & unwillingness to snitch on his organization. (Note: the organization he is in has KILLED numerous people to silence them. So, she is keeping herself alive by not testifying against them.)

   Anyhow, in the prison she is in inmates are NOT ALLOWED face-to-face visits. They have to do visits via paid video calls. So, my sister has no option to talk to her daughter other than paying a private corporation to do it. She cannot visit face-to-face.

   It is inhumane to not allow people interactions with their loved ones, to not allow them to at leas see each other in person.

5. People don't commit crime if they have something to lose. Give them something to live for, instead of squeezing them until they have nothing to lose. Our criminal justice system as it is is exploitation. End mass incarceration!

6. The stupid nonsense about China pisses me off, China is a far freer country than America it doesn't make it a good thing that's why American corporation left America for China!
