I dunno…I don't think the officers' lives were at risk at that moment. It was pretty easy to dodge that brick, and one it was thrown, the suspect was unarmed. Surely, this could have been resolved without lethal force. And I usually take the cops' side in such matters.
Pobre vato loco
Why are American police so stupid? … They dodged the brick. The suspect was defenseless at that point and could easily have been arrested. America, you NEED to make a college degree the MINIMUM educational requirements for police officers FFS.
How could anyone be so stupid? LMAO
A society that renders aid to criminals is suicidal.
I respect the hell out of cops and what they do but I don’t think they should have took his life. I thought tasers and other non-lethal are used for stuff like this. But dude is still in idiot either way bc he had a gun pointed at him and he should have listened. At least the brick is ok!
never bring a brick to a gunfight! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
When will we have brick control laws in America?
He’s not a cop anymore
Sayonara
This one is hard, technically he has a lethal weapon, but the moment he threw it he was unarmed.
Maybe he identifies as Palestinian and thought he'd be released from jail then next time Hamas takes hostages 😛
Wrong is wrong but a brick?
I remember when I was shot by the police.
🤔🤷â€â™‚ï¸
I don't speak french, so I have no idea what they're saying on the 911 call.
My problem with this situation is not that the cops blasted him for throwing a brick. Its that if any other citizen defended themselves with a gun from a brick thrower the cops would arrest them, saying once the brick was thrown the suspect was unarmed, therefore you get charged with homicide, and the DA will try to throw the book at you, and Lord help you if you get an antigun judge and a liberal jury. Its not so much that the cops are above the law, its that there is a law for them and a much harsher law for us.
What goes through these idiots heads that tells them "just do it, they won't do anything to you"? Then they get all upset because that little voice lied.
If you can dodge a brick you can dodge a ball
Unfortunately, this being in California, this cop is going to go through hell because they will argue the suspect was no longer "armed" when he was shot
Why would they shoot him AFTER he threw the brick? That makes NO sense
Hoop Angel effect
I don't think they are sending us their best 😉
Bad Shoot…. he had only one brick… officer shot AFTER he launched the brick…. bad shoot…
This fucking cop really just killed a guy because he tossed a brick.
You just have to wonder, how high drunk or stupid can one person be? Then we get some more body camera footage and go, Yep, a little more….
Ladies and gentlemen, this is what you call a dumbass.
