  1. The Asian success in the US has debunked all this. They make more than white people. Don't be a victim. Embrace personal responsibility. Free stuff only makes people less competitive. If you are waiting around for life to be fair, you will be waiting a long time. Take your future into your own hands – work twice as hard as everyone else.

  2. I can't thumbs down this video enough… This clip starts with the foregone conclusion that if there is an inequity in society that can be observed, that government should and must pull out all the stops and perform wealth transfers to make the outcomes even… Is it possible that things like single-parent households could be a primary cause of household income disparities between groups? Why would we think that an intact family with two parents would not have more income and be better suited to raise children than say a single-parent household? Is taxing the 2-parent household really the answer to this inequity? We should start at the root of the problem, resolve that and these other issues will improve also!

  3. This is another very good interview/discussion about the USA economically and also with respect to US history, by which I'm meaning with respect to the reparations issue.

  4. It's not racial anymore, it's a full classist society. It's the top 10% earners, then their security guards, then the rest in the gig economy.

Also framing this as race is even worse because when you look at wealth inequality it's largely GENERATIONAL , socialistic policies have been maintained for the old Americans, not the young. Baby boomers DO NOT LIKE TALKING ABOUT THIS.

Young Americans got GUTTED from 2010-2020 and no one in DC will address it and the very few people that do get gaslighted into the ground. Bernie and AOC stick up for young Americans, and they are getting blasted by the GOP AND the DNC / DCCC.

  5. 😖 Given that the people inhabiting planet Earth all belong to ONE species, that being HOMO SAPIENS, just what do you mean by ‘race’? Do not refer to any biological concept beyond that of the one species named here.

  6. Here are a few fairly large problem with the way i see most of the people who discuss things like this have.
    (1) If you take ALL the money from people who have wealth above 100 million dollars and give it out to everyone else, each person will get ~$3000, that is it, then it is gone and there are no more rich people and $3000 doesnt go very far at all
    (2) As we bring so much more of the population into the work force, additional minorities, women, we have more then doubled our workforce in the last 50 years. Where do you think the money to pay them comes from? it is taken from everyone else and spread out evenly among us. There is not an infinite amount of wealth. This is why where one person could support a family of 4, it now takes two working adults to do the same.
    (3) just raising wages does nothing to increase wealth, it just decreases the value of a dollar. A dollar is only worth the skill and effort it takes to earn it(in that order, hard labor has low value because most anyone can do it). Paying low skill workers $100 an hour doesnt solve anything.

The wealth divide sucks, and the top should not have so much wealth, but even if we take ALL of it from them, that does nothing but give a one time windfall that is about the same as the average tax return, then all of that wealth is gone, spread out into the grey goo made up of everyone that is created by socialism.
