Solar Energy for Puerto Rico! Clean Energy! No to more environmental Damages!
Puerto Rico needs to stop squandering money on socialist programs and pay its lenders back.
Puerto Rico is perfectly located to use solar power even all winter, but the heavily indebted state power company appears to be too corrupt to function as a power company for everyone, let alone build expensive solar farms and energy storage facilities. One of the reasons electric is more expensive is because the power company makes consumers subsidize giving unlimited free power to all the local governments.
Climate change will continue to be denied, ridiculed and fought against by the establishment until it either becomes good for business or….we all die. I am hoping it becomes good for business soon!
Okay interview, but it seems that renewable forms of creating energy, what presently is known or exists anyway, might not be such a good approach after all. Due to various safety concerns I'm not much in favor of nuclear generation of energy but still found the following video interesting nonetheless: " Why renewables can’t save the planet | Michael Shellenberger " (17:32), TEDx Talks, 4 Jan 2019, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-yALPEpV4w. Quote: " Environmentalists have long promoted renewable energy sources like solar panels and wind farms to save the climate. But what about when those technologies destroy the environment? In this provocative talk, Time Magazine “Hero of the Environment†and energy expert, Michael Shellenberger explains why solar and wind farms require so much land for mining and energy production, and an alternative path to saving both the climate and the natural environment. Michael Shellenberger is a Time Magazine Hero of the Environment and President of Environmental Progress, a research and policy organization. A lifelong environmentalist, Michael changed his mind about nuclear energy and has helped save enough nuclear reactors to prevent an increase in carbon emissions equivalent to adding more than 10 million cars to the road. He lives in Berkeley, California. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. ".
Don’t worry Puerto Rico your president Donald Trump will help you lol
Who has listened to climate change warnings? No one in the USA for sure. Donald Trump has a National Emergency he cares nothing about , there is no Emergency, but the action sets him up for one year of the ability to declare that the emergency is worse and Congress is not doing anything to stop it, so he has to declare Martial Law. This is the only reason he declared a national emergency. No matter what may happen, if his power is threatened, he will just declare Martial Law. Nothing has been done about Trump because so many Democrats and Republicans are in on the plot. People just keep thinking business as usual. No more business as usual.
Politicians in Puerto Rico are like the ones in main land USA… totally corrupt.
