The Real News should have a debate on the idea of carbon taxes. Many or most climate change organizations say using "The Market" to reduce carbon will not work because the corps will game the system. Have carbon taxes reduced carbon anywhere it's been tried? RNN needs to look at this issue.

Shouldn't the people decide if they want to be taxed for an energy they do not have, have never had and thus brings the question if they really need? Shouldn't the people decide if they want energy? Who is he to decide how the limited income of the people, especially the poor should be spent? If they cannot afford masks, how are they to afford an energy tax?
