You know this is a great piece, but you speak of de regulation, and de regulation does not go far enough. If you want regulation that will let the market operate, you will end the Fed monopoly. I am a retired Civil Engineering Technician and I can vouch for the accuracy of what Col. Wilkerson is saying in regards to removing government regulations. I've seen the results first hand innumerable times. I was forced into retirement because I refused to go along with what was being done.
When the concrete was being poured for the plug on the Deep Water Horizon the mixture should have been constantly tested to make sure the desired characteristics were obtained. Faking these tests or altering the results are one of the most common ways to increase profits by producing poor quality concrete. This is normally done threw bribing and/or intimidating the ones doing the testing. The explosion of the plug sounds very familiar from experience. There was a problem with the mix, that would have shown up in the tests but was obviously not corrected.
Please don't refer to fraud and corruption as genius.

Interesting that Cheney became so powerful and wealthy at Halleberton, whose logo looks very much like the logo of Haverton in the film, the Ghost Writer, in which a British PM and his wife were working for the CIA. Some very interesting similarities.

It's weird that Wilkerson claims to be a republican and then suggests that Obama replaced his appointments with better people, when as far as I can tell there has been more continuity of Government from one administration to the next than difference.
This is the same thing that Bush did during Reagan years.
