  1. MF comunistas….look at Your flag behind. Police doesn’t stack by sport, “students” destroy buildings and people property. MAMERTOS DE MIERDA TRABAJEN DEJEN DE VIVIR DEL PUEBLO DE LOS QUE PAGAMOS IMPUESTOS. ESTUDIEN Y HAGAN PROGRESAR ESTE PAÍS.

  2. So a communist gringo has to go to South America to show his little brown brothers and sisters how it's done. If the student demonstrators weren't masked wouldn't the police infiltrators stand out like a sore thumb?
I predict blood in the streets. If you want to understand what's going on in the strategic front read John Steinbeck's In Dubious Battle.

  3. Thank you for telling the truth about the demonstrations, the Colombian government, preferably expends more money on defense, instead of educacion, that's not acceptable to a poor country as Colombia. On top of it, now they want to extend 18% taxes in all the basic food, something that the middle class and lower class can not pay for it, unless they eat twice a day, instead of 3 meals. Horrible anti democratic auction against the Colombian citizen.

  4. This is the first time I hear of it. If this were happening in Nicaragua or Venezuela, there would be non-stop coverage by the main Spanish language networks in the US, talking about "repression". They would even be on ABC, CNN etc. It would be all on the front page of El País es etc. But since this is Colombia, well, no interest, its' normal "it happens in every country" etc.

  5. As a Colombian student, I really appreciate you're covering this situation and doing what the media in my country doesn't. Thank you for talking with the parts that are implied, we're fighting for our right to have quality education, the right to safely study without worrying about the building falling on our heads. We have a government that doesn't care for the people. We have a dictator talking about democracy (a wolf disguised as a lamb) But the youth is saying: "This is enough!" And we're not going to stop. I'm a student of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia (Colombia National University) and I'm truly grateful for your support. #SOSUniversidadesPúblicas
