  1. America & Americans need to Create a NEW POLITICAL SYSTEM & STRUCTURE by infusion of Fresh set of Progressive Minds that keeps fully in mind the PEOPLE in Formulation of their Policies rather than a System that Sells itself to the highest bidders of Society.

  2. This is off the subject, but where has Aaron Mate been? There are a few other journalist that I have not seen in a while. Just wondering. Everyone on The Real News does a stand up profession job. Thank you

  3. If those idiots that voted for trump in protest had voted for someone actually anti establishment like Jill Stein we'd have a much different democrat party today.

  4. Things are waaaay beyond incrementalism and “creating space”. Maybe in the 1970’s that was possible. Sustained nonviolent disobedience and finally ENDING CAPITALISM is the only solution. Watch the piece Jimmy Dore did a few days ago about “voting for the lesser of two evils”. The Democratic Party is a fake resistance, a plant, a CIA psyop, a false dichotomy there to keep you compliant and obedient. Is that not obvious?

  5. Overthrow the corporate state through a 3rd party movement….ain't gonna happen "INSIDE" the democratic party. That's a pipe dream. Sorry Paul.
Social/Democrats only primaried two establishment candidates.

  6. There are some pretty obvious targets to challenge corporate power. The Supreme Court- pure fantasy made law of the land such as corporations are persons which enables even more fantasies made law such as citizens united ;(or money is free speech), that enables lobbyist to shower money to politicians to write laws and policy that favor corporations and give them more power.

  7. Benjamin Franklin – Founding Father:
All Property, indeed, except the Savage's temporary Cabin, his Bow, his Matchcoat, and other little Acquisitions, absolutely necessary for his Subsistence, seems to me to be the Creature of public Convention. Hence the Public has the Right of Regulating Descents, and all other Conveyances of Property, and even of limiting the Quantity and the Uses of it.

All the Property that is necessary to a Man, for the Conservation of the Individual and the Propagation of the Species, is his natural Right, which none can justly deprive him of: But all Property superfluous to such purposes is the Property of the Publick, who, by their Laws, have created it, and who may therefore by other Laws dispose of it, whenever the Welfare of the Publick shall demand such Disposition.

He that does not like civil Society on these Terms, let him retire and live among Savages. He can have no right to the benefits of Society, who will not pay his Club towards the Support of it.

  8. We could also petition the Supreme Court to purge the 2-Fisted Political-Party Mafia running an extra-constitutional layer of government. Political Parties are for the voters to nominate candidates for the ballot, not for Government Officials to choose Voters with gerrymandering, voter registration purging and running their bribery/vote extortion rackets in our legislative bodies.

  9. Your propaganda won't hold water, let alone the human mind. You know just as well as I do that the corporations didn't create Trump. The popular vote doesn't elect the President. The Media didn't create Trump, because the popular vote doesn't elect the President. Your controlled opposition isn't going to work anymore. Goodbye

  10. Unfortunately, what the Americans really have are politicians "who obediently rubber-stamp decisions made by and for the interests of the military-industrial complex and Wall Street,"

  11. There will be no change in DC, voting doesn't bring about anything better. If you get great people in there, they are surrounded by heartless sharks who only care about profit from lobbyists and military complex. The US will never be fixed, it will fall like dominoes. If they cared, it wouldn't be this way, so they don't care about the people, except on election day. The other 364 days, they side with who feeds them the most money.

  12. I don’t know what sounds more unlikely: the overthrow of the corporate state or the people getting engaged in electoral politics and taking over the Democratic Party. They both sound very unlikely to me.

  13. We have less than 20 years to seize the means before climate change hits a tipping point and were talking about reformign the Dims from within? Gimme a break Jay. That kind dead-end thinking makes me want to pull my monthly funding

  14. So things were better under Obama? Are you guys insane? Free health care costs $36t, it would double the cost of the government, we'd be sunk. The corporate state isn't just the koke brothers and a couple others, it's also all Buffett, Soros, Kerry and the other left wing liberals who want to keep the status quo including Sanders who supported Clinton the worst of all the oligarchs!!!!
