  1. i was always critical to Israel and more than critical to Saudi-Arabia. i have thought all this rumours about collaboration between Israel and Saudi Arabia are propaganda from  Muslmin extremists. because on the present situation – no acceptance of Israel by the Muslims, no acceptance of Palestine by Israel – it would be against the convictions of both sides. the only conviction Israel and Saudi Arabia could unite is the utter betryal of all Jewish and Muslm values. an Israel working together with Saudi Arabia call the Jewish state is on the fringe of Anti-Semitism and a Saudi Arabia working together with Israel call a Muslim state is an utter insult of Islam

  2. Ben Norton beautifully setup a question about the petrodollar which was supposed to be one of the focuses of this segment. Too bad Paul Jay punted it and instead waxed on about volatility which we already know plenty about.

  3. @PaulJay definitely sounds fearful of the economic fall of the American world empire. Like if other world empires prior to America didn't create their own demise.

  4. Not sure if I agree with Jay. Iran isn't going to flip bombs into Saudi as that would give the US and Israel to invade. But Jay is right that the US loves dictators even though it empties its lung screaming democracy everyday. And he is also right that the US needs to keep the middle east in warlike condition to sell more arms.

  5. Paul, You left out the most insidious part of the petro dollar, the banksters are ties into every aspect you mentioned and directly in the governments and corporations.
You know the people who own the Clintons and Obummer. Do you honestly think the banksters who, still launder billions for drug lords dont have other
"Connections" with these thugs to carry out their dirty work? Obummer gave the banksters access to the NSA database. Do you think once OWS was put down with bankster money that the banksters just stopped having access to that nsa database?
