  1. The INF Treaty has no bearing on the Korean Peninsula whatsoever.
There are no nuclear weapons in South Korea or on any U.S. Navy Surface Ship.

  2. The US clearly does not want peace and want to continue using South Korea as an aircraft carrier to antagonize China.  Their position is so obvious.  The Koreans need to push ahead and leave the US out of it.

  3. Koreans North or South are not fools.

The South's industrial prowess matched with Cheap labour in the North would create an economic problem for China and USA and anyone else.

Thats what Koreans see in this all.

Nuclear weapons is the last thing on the list…just something for Trump to crow about. and look impotent. The real problem with defeating NK is their conventional artillery which makes invasion a non starter.

"North Korea has 130mm and 170mm guns (5-inch and 7-inch) with ranges of 25 and 35 miles using special “bleeding” or rocket-assisted projectiles. The black arcs on the map show how far they can reach into South Korea. North Korea also has 122mm and 240mm multiple rocket launchers (5- and 9-inch), with about the same two ranges, and 300mm (12-inch) rockets that can reach 120 miles. Sources say that the 300mm rockets alone could hit Seoul with 350 metric tons of explosives in a single volley, about the same amount as 11 B-52 bombers. The 170mm and 240mm weapons in aggregate can fire an astonishing 10,000 rounds per minute. In addition, North Korea has SCUD and home-grown missiles, but although their ranges are longer, they are less numerous, less dependable, and easier to intercept. The artillery is relatively simple, especially because it is like old-style coastal artillery, which could spend years practicing to hit a narrow range of targets in the harbor. The gunners do not have to learn barrage-rolling or infantry communication or how to read topographic maps. The rate of fire and concealment can be honed to perfection."

So, invading the north is a non starter without getting 4 million people to move…

  4. Once North Korea begins to open up there will be psychos going into the country to get themselves arrested or shot on purpose… due to propaganda influence driving folks crazy and directly sponsored by governments. Plenty of little scenarios like this to undermine and rollback diplomacy.

  5. The USA has plenty of cards up it sleeve to derail peace in Korea… They've got of practice at it. The US is not gonna leave Korea… they'd try to sponsor a coup or assassination in South Korea before that happened.

  6. The US needs to get their asses out of the Korean peninsula. South Korea is wealthy and smart enough to manage its own affairs. Time to save a few billion a year for tax payers on this never-ending "armistice". The MIC and their Neocons buddies in Washington will weep bitterly. Ironic if this all happens because of an incompetent imbecile in the WH.

  7. This was inevitable from Trump feeling jealous for his initiation of peace with North Korea. Jealousy of N. Korea and S. Korea getting along so well and their strides in peace building.

Kim Jong-Un and Moon Jae-in can make this work without the United States.
Xi Jinping wants US troops and THAAD missle systems out of South Korea and Kim owes China.
