MIDLAND, Texas — The City of Midland and the Midland Police Department has released the
body cam and dash cam footage from the arrest of
Tye Anders 21 year old who was arrested and charged with
evading arrest after police say they tried to pull him over
for running a stop sign, where he refused to stop on May 16, 2020

Anders’ family and their lawyer held a press conference on Tuesday
where they said Anders was assaulted while handcuffed in the back
of the police car, and that the charge against him should be dropped.
