The PPD Northwest Detective Division is attempting to identify the individuals responsible for this commercial robbery.
On February 24, 2024, at 1619 E. Wadsworth at 9:30am the complainant reported two unknown males robbed her store. The complainant reported while working the register at her store an unknown black male entered her store and shortly after fell and acted as if he was incapacitated. She left her register to help the man. While doing this an unknown white male, who entered the store after the first male, ran right to the register and emptied all the money out of it. The male fled the store and while another employee tried to stop him the offender sprayed pepper spray in his face. Video surveillance shows both males talking outside the store before the robbery and it appears the first male fell to distract the owner. Both males fled and were gone before police arrived.
