This week, we are discussing a serious topic. A large number of men and women of law enforcement have been killed very recently, and AK is here to discuss emotionally coping when you or someone you love experiences the loss of a brother or sister on duty.
At Law Enforcement Today, our hearts go out to the families, friends, and coworkers of the fallen. We stand with you. We mourn with you. We are here for you.

About AK Dozanti
She’s a former Deputy Sheriff turned First Responder Wellness Coach & Specialist. In 2015 the affects of life and law enforcement caught up with her, she burned out just months after being named Officer of the Year. There’s a lot more to the story but she is honored to say that she helps first responders prevent burnout in their own lives so that they can free themselves from their mental battle.
In this world of go, go, go we are embracing a new series called “Sunday Reset” here at Law Enforcement Today. A lot of people spend the day before week meal prepping, cleaning, and generally getting themselves ready for the week ahead, and we’ve invited AK to come on and help our viewers mentally and emotionally reset for the week ahead as well.
If you’d like to learn more about AK or you’d like to contact her regarding one on one coaching for your mental well being, please visit her website at www.akdozanti.com

Burnsville(MN) police officers Matthew Ruge and Paul Elmstrand, and firefighter and paramedic Adam Finseth.
7 lost in 24 hours. That is insane. The media did a horrible job of reporting this number. Thank you for your videos.
Close the Border!!!! Illegals are killing us on LEO’s
ACAB
I do support law enforcement. My heart aches whenever there is another one lost to us. May I please make a suggestion, I listen to a lot of crime podcasts. Far too often cadaver dogs are utilized til 48 to 72 hrs. I strongly believe they should go ro home of missing kids on first report. Give the kids a chance before they are found deceased. Also law enforcement needs to fight for legislation that social services have their reports reviewed with LE. If found to be negligent of their jobs, they need to be charged.imsosick of far too many times they should be charged for failure to protect.
