Brush Prairie, Washington — On February 20, 2024, Clark County Sheriff’s deputies responded after a woman called 911 and reported that she’d received a call from her mother on a male family member’s phone. The daughter said that her mother was acting strange and “didn’t sound like herself.” The daughter also said her mother was “being held hostage” and there were “guns everywhere,” according to investigators. Upon arriving on the scene, deputies attempted to detain the male subject, later identified as 53-year-old Jonathan Gale.
Gale can be seen reaching for something and deputies quickly backing away while firing at Gale. Deputies said he pulled a gun. Gale quickly drops to the ground after being struck by gunfire. Deputies are then heard yelling at Gale, “Drop the gun! If you reach for it, force is going to be used against you.” Police said Gale had two firearms. Deputies provided first aid to Gale, but medical personnel pronounced him dead. The female victim was taken to the hospital. No deputies were physically injured. When detectives searched Gale’s RV, they seized 10 improvised explosive devices, multiple firearms and more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition, according to the video compilation.

So bizarre. They are so focused on following the directions in their book that they are oblivious to the fact he died well before the plugging, the cutting, the searching for firearms. Insane disconnect from realty they must develop from desensitisation.
All those guns and explosives but he didn't train his draw. To quote the old guy with the fishing pole, ya gotta be quicker than that.

Girl officer needs to be fired dawg. She literally shot while her gun backward not even looking. She lucky she didn’t hit other other officers with her dumbness.
The officer that fired shots and took leed is the most professional and top notch cop i have ever seen in action.

Oh my! Another incompetent female officer putting everyone in danger! If you slow down the video you can see that she immediately turns around running away from the fight and proceeds to pull her firearm and fire blindly behind her as she runs. Her first shot goes off barely after getting her weapon upholstered and goes into the ground narrowly missing her own leg. Still don't understand why incompetent people are hired for a job they can't handle.
To the victim who we may never know. Thank you for speaking when it's hardest to do so.

Honestly, i feel like if it werent for the 1st officer being quick and not running from the suspect, one or more of the other officers could have been shot. He was the only one that got shots off when there needed to be any while the other onrs tried to run for coever. Remember that running cant end a gunfight: only prolong it.
