I have friends in MDPD and I can testify that they need a true leader. I know a family who's daughter was found deceased on district 4's jurisdiction. The mother has been calling homicide to speak to the detective in charge and it has been a year and not one returned call. I have known endless Troopers , have worked with some at (3700). They're very professional.. I once was told by a Trooper that they had to be courteous because they represented the State. Very true. At age 18 I was the youngest ambulance attendant in this history of Rsndle Eastern Ambulance. I was part of EMT 1. One of the first calls I ran was the turnpike at the bird road exist. There was Stanley Glasscock laying in a pool of blood shot by an individual on a traffic stop. He was deceased. Very sad. FHP is very dangerous. One of my friends just had her twenty one year old graduate and works the Keys. Folks vote for Joe Sanchez.

Joe for Sheriff! We need a Sheriff for the people, not someone under the Mayor's skirt and bought for from another County to put a fake, social public display of unity in our LE departments and have everything then go back as usual when elected.. We need unity in our LE and not a dog and pony show.
Sheriff works for the people and has absolutely no affiliation or is controlled with county commissioners and mayor.
A real Sheriff is someone like Polk County Sheriff, Grady Judd!

Great podcast. Hopefully I will be back to Florida in a few years, I want to work in Florida, lived in FL for 8 years and now current LEO in Wisconsin but I miss FL.
The first thing you need to do is get rid of Leo Affairs. The public reads the comments and they're appalling. These are cops talking about other cops. This is the reason why you have organizations that keep an eye on police doings. It's constitutional and they have rights. Not insulting them but society has seen some of the corruption committed by police officers.
In all seriousness. Joe Sanchez is a great person. I voted for him when he ran for commissioner and he's always been on point. Never a problem. Believe it or not I met him on 8st & 13 ave while coming out from BK. I walked up to him and and introduced myself. He was a perfect gentlemen. He treated me as if I was a friend. I honestly tell you MDPD needs an individual like him. MDPD has many problems. I wholeheartedly trust him and he's the person for the job.
