Donnie’s disappearance was a mystery that weighed heavily on his loved ones. He was last seen driving a 2002 silver Hyundai Elantra with the license plate MKGE3P. The search for Donnie took numerous turns, with various theories and speculations about his whereabouts. One of the focal points in the investigation was Tunnel Dam, an area that had previously drawn significant interest.

In this latest search, AWP returned to Tunnel Dam, which had always seemed to hold potential clues.

Equipped with new technology, including a magnetometer, we aimed to detect metal objects beneath the water’s surface, potentially locating Donnie’s vehicle.

During the search, our team encountered various obstacles and challenges. The rugged terrain and unpredictable conditions made the mission even more daunting. The magnetometer readings showed significant spikes, indicating the presence of large metal objects. This was a promising lead, but without visual confirmation, it remained uncertain.

Further inspection revealed the object was not Donnie’s car, but we didn’t lose hope.

  1. JARED!! I tried to tell you guys (by leaving comments) that you can not rule out (clear) a body of water until you get into the water, can see the bottom of the entire location or until the body of water is drained. I have cringed every time Jared cleared a location by looking at it. Throwing the sonar ball into the water a couple of times &/or seeing water plants growing doesn't mean the entire body of water is too shallow. Lily pads have long stems that can reach further than the roots do. The wind pushes the pads around on the surface of the water meaning the stems will grow longer & are able to reach over deeper water. Jared, please, please, please stop ruling out (clearing) waters you haven't put your boats & fish finders into. You & your teams are my favorite hands down but I'm very disappointed that you have been taking these shortcuts. You guys are so much better than that, don't let the families down because you THINK the body of water is too shallow to bother with.

  2. I curious, not judging. But should you have a backup diver fully rigged in case your main diver has a problem? We always had that in confined space situations at my chemical plant.

  3. This is seemingly a video of attempts to locate the missing person. It also shares that the man was found in a pond. Yes it does seem like a little bit of click bait suggesting he was found in this video, but I don't feel like any false claims were made.

  4. Just curious, why if a car is found top up but will not be pulled no one checks the trunk? Also the glove compartment if possible? Also why not carry a mesh bag to hold the smaller items that are retrieved down there? Please keep up the work as families need answers.

  5. Thanks for showing us the sometimes painstaking long process to rule something out… or not! I always gain even more respect by seeing you learning to use the equipment as best as possible!❀❀❀

  6. ❀ I just started watching you guys a few days ago I saw one of your shows that said people were giving you all hard time because you were not showing the ones where they were only solved I like seeing all of your videos solved or unsolved because you are right this helps put awareness out there you can only do what you can do and you guys from what I've seen are doing the best job you all can and your wife she is awesome for letting you do this and I know she worries about you you all you guys stay safe what you're doing is dangerous with some of the situations you all put yourselves in I could not do that God bless you all you all are a very special group of people that help others you're awesome please keep up the great work
