Idaho Victim’s Dad Reacts to Judge Moving Bryan Kohberger’s Trial: ‘Bring it On’ – Everything Law and Order Blog

Just this week, an Idaho judge ruled that the trial against Bryan Kohberger will be moved out of Moscow where he allegedly murdered four University of Idaho students. Judge John Judge cited potential prejudice, extensive media coverage, and the small nature of the community as reasons to push the trial out of Latah County. Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin were stabbed to death inside their off-campus apartment. Investigators say Kohberger’s DNA matches DNA found at the crime scene. NewsNation senior national correspondent Brian Entin speaks with Kaylee Goncalves’ parents about the latest developments on this episode of “Entin Across America.”

  1. I believe he is going to get away with murder. I pray 😭🙏💕😘💖❤️💞😌🙏💕 the family gets the justice ♎⚖️ they deserve. I pray 😭🙏💕😘🙏💖❤️ the family will not stop 🚏🛑 until they get justice ♎⚖️ for the death of there kid's. His dad knows more than what he's saying, and should be charged with a crime also. Justice ♎⚖️ for the victims, and their families.

  2. Glad to hear that the trial might take place in Boise, there are more Dry Cleaners in Boise Idaho, Bryan Kohberger has some nice suits. The Defense should hire Attorney Barry Scheck a top DNA expert, he helped OJ
Simpson. I think the DNA on the knife strap button was accidentally transferred.

  3. Why fight DP in a case like this? This person was arrested, based on evidence. As such, yes, he should be afforded a fair trial but that should include DP on the table.
Fighting DP suggests that the Defense know he's guilty – now their just fighting to keep him alive no matter what.

The victims got to die, without having a choice – but he gets to have a choice? After having a fair trial? That's justice?

  4. The G family is NOT the victim but family of the victim. I believe they are overstepping their rights and should abide by the gag order.
The PCA is full of holes and what happened to INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
If there is an mis trial it’s because of fabricated evidence, bad confidential informant info and Steve Gs tampering.
Seek true justice and not fabricated evidence!

  5. if Ann Taylor truly believes BK is innocent, wouldn’t she want to speed this up a little because a killer is on the loose in her community? Maybe he is innocent of murder, but he must be involved somehow for her to know enough that she is not worried about a killer on the loose.

  6. My heart goes out to the Goncalves and all the victims' families. I think it should have stayed in Moscow, but the decision's been made and I hope this COV doesn't delay things further. And while I've liked Judge Judge, I hope the next judge is a lot tougher on the defense and doesn't put up with all her bs'ing shenanigans.

  7. @lawandcrimebrianentin I would like Brian Entin to have Steve Goncalves clarify what he means about the sleeve under the leg!!! This needs to addressed IMO (in my opinion). I'll be looking forward to you covering this ASAP!!!

  8. THATS PROBABLY NOT TRUE WHAT STEVE SAID ABOUT THE DNA! THEY WOULD NEVER TELL HIM THAT,THERE'S A GAG ORDER! SO THAT'S A LIE! I THINK THEY ARE HOLDING ON TO ANYTHING AN ANYONE TO GET JUSTICE FOR THERE DAUGHTERS! I FEEL SO BAD FOR THEM BECAUSE THATS ALL THEY HAVE TO HOLD ON TO! PRAYERS FOR THERE CHILDREN AN FAMILIES 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😢

  9. Judge J said early-on that he really hoped the venue wouldn’t change (probably because he wanted to stay with the case), but with the defense witnesses and a weak pushback from the prosecution, JJ had no choice, but to move the venue and withdrawal.

  10. This guy is smart ….he is going to wit until close to trial then come up with something else to delay this. If you're innocent, why prolonged your innocence. The judge wanted out and it was the perfect reason

  11. JJ didnt know what a CAST report was. He wanted out long ago. He's not going down with this ship of Bills. For all we know the new Judge may throw this case out ? The IGG was all they had and they're not using it HA ! Something stinks !
DNA on a sleeve under a leg WHAT ????

  12. What’s the big deal over the suits? Most defendants are dressed for court all the way through the verdict. If there’s a penalty phase, they dress for court. Once that’s over, a defendant may appear in court in prison clothing for the official sentencing hearing and victims’ statements. But defendants generally dress for court. It’s been determined long ago that defendants appearing in court for trial in prison clothing is prejudicial and it’s not proper dress for court. They are innocent until proven guilty so they dress as innocent citizens.
