I had a someone email me offering to donate a piano. It sounded too good to be true but I had to find out. I think you’ll be pretty surprised by what I uncovered.

  1. I had a similar incident that happened to me (almost) 2 years ago on Facebook Marketplace when there was a guy how was selling a "Free" Piano, and had the same sob story of his wife dying (shown here).

If you looked at the picture, the piano they were showing was from a possible store. Thankfully, no money wasn't spent on the scam since I didn't proceed to the payment and all that yada yada. 😁

  2. I got a phone number off of my dad's phone and started texting them and they wanted to put advertising on my car and pay me to advertise on my car I had to pay the guy to come out and put the stickers on my car and they would send me a check too cover it I had them send it to a business that was not mine It was fun wasting their time

  3. Some joker currently has a free Steinway in Vegas. I am a piano tuner two hours north of there. There’s no way I would fall for that! We did, however, have two individuals here in our home from Pakistan. They came to clean our ducts And you know the rest. 460 bucks, however I was at my bank the following day after my wife discovered your channel! By the way, the local cops are in on their shit, so hopefully they’ll get them!

  4. Where I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains, older people still routinely use the word, "kindly". It's part of mountain english. So that wouldn't have necessarily been a red flag to me since I'm used to hearing it. Thanks for the headsup.

  5. I did University in Britain in the late 70s and I say kindly, sincerely, lovely, “finds you well”. Born and raised in Western USA. I also call people by Miss, Mister. I think the Nigerians are using old formal English from England.

  6. I got a piano this same way. I paid for the delivery and the piano was free. I thought i was going to take lessons and learn to play… that was 4 years ago. On an unrelated note, does anyone want a piano in the Atlanta metro area? 😂
