Be careful who you get printer support from! You might end up getting scammed. A lot of scammers are impersonating Canon, HP, and Epson. Make sure you visit the correct websites when getting printer support and double checking the phone numbers.

I am from India its a shame that these scam center's are working in our nation. The worlds biggest scam centers are in Combodia, Myanmar run by Chinese. I graduated did 10 different computer courses wich included accounting. My fathers work mate whom wasn't in contact for 13 years suddenly constacted him he was acting nice we trusted him he told me that he could provide me an job in Europe, after that he told me he would give me an job in UNO as an worker he showed us fake evidences,hence we believed that b*stard and gaved 4lakh rupees after the bank transfer he told that due to Russia -Ukrain war this iob opportunities are gone hence he will provide me an job as an sales executive at Cambodia my father believed him I told the parents this man is mad or he is an fraud due to burden then send me to Cambodia I went their found the middlemen was Bangladeshi , Pakistani muslim men and black Africans their job is to sell each person to Chinese or North Koreans whom loot entire Europe,USA and India by crypto scams and other scams they told me the work is in night no leave you should cover the targets otherwise you would be tortured and explained several things to me because I was polite and was company to them they asked me for the passport I told I need some time so they gaved 1day time, the Chinese hotel I was staying didn't had stairs so I need to figure out an way to escape hence when time camed when their was just 2 ladies at reception I took my luggage ran away for 3 kilometres minimum contacted family they sent me the tickets and I am back. People sincere like me and my family whom are also cheated by job scams this happed 2 years before. The local agents were christian Guy Sajan John and an Muslim guy Mathyas,the middlemen men Bangladeshis and Pakistanis and Black Africans,the main bosses are Chinese and North Koreans. Its an human flavoury. They tried to brainwash me by saying several Indians camed here ,scammed and got billions as commission etc but I didn't fell for it due to my True Hindu heritage, Nonviolence , cultural and ethical background. If trapped in their no body can escape I talked to several people whom gaved their passports to this people they thaught that I gaved passport to middle men told me their worst experiences. Also remember I didn't get food for an day,their is no water the water is drank from toilet. All these experiences from fraud Christians and Muslim community made hatred in my heart I don't trust anyone from these communities anymore.

I was experiencing difficulties with my HP. Contacted their technical support. They sent me a link, asked me to give them remote access to my computer. I ended the chat so fast their heads spun. I locked-down my computer even further just to be sure. Yes, they were HP Support. They sent me an email asking me why I shut them out. Seriously?

I recently gave up on my hp laptop. I’ve been using exclusively my new iPad Pro 6th generation 12.9”. I also bought a new hp printer and hooked it up in literally a manner of minutes to my iPad and my iPhone 15 pro max. It was seem less. Windows Microsoft operating system is the problem. First off, many companies legitimately route to call centers in India or the Philippines. And I’ve talked with them (with difficulty lol) and my legitimate business contact was concluded. End of story. Now the scammers have interwoven their slime with the legitimate Indian call centers. What a shame. But! If they’re from Nigeria? Sorry Nigerians, but it’s disconnect time and you can accuse of whatever you want. 🙌🏽

Do printers not come with a little installation disk anymore? It's been six years since I bought a printer but everyone I have ever bought had that disk. The only time I needed the net is when I lost the disk and changed computers.

I had to comment on this video because this literally just happened to me and I gave this so called HP assist access to my laptop and I'm not even sure how I fell for it 😢. I restarted the laptop and he was still in it so I'm hoping now that I have closed all the chat etc they won't have access to my laptop anymore😩

This JUST happened to me. I found what looked like a 100% legit HP customer support number and the person wanted me to download something on my laptop. I followed my intuition and hung up on him. SO many people would fall for this. I called him back and gave him a piece of my mind.
