I will be at POCONO SPEEDWAY this weekend Aug 4th and 5th for some drifting so come by and say hello and maybe even come for a ride along!!!
I worked hard to make this fix as simple and cheap as possible so anyone can do this at home! If I can cut a hole in my exhaust the size of a playing card, you can fix your small leak!

If the gasket is leaking around the manifold do not put epoxy or anything else take it apart and replace the gasket!
Unbelievable commitment to your content thank you so much
I sure could use your help repairing an exhaust leak on my Ford windstar, very tuff spot to reach. 😢
Very helpful 👍
To Chris, I would just like to share with you that I think it was a marvelous display and example of repairing the exhaust leak. I have a 64 Nova and I was just considering taking it to the shop because I have back issues and I can’t get under the car like I used to, but as simple as you made this appear, I’m making the attempt to repair it myself. It looks just that simple and I think it’s the collector because it’s on my passenger side right under the passenger door, but either way I think it was a great job and I just want you to know that I thank you. I saved it, I shared it but I did not subscrbe, I could not find the subscription button, I do know that I’m searching for your other videos and I thank you again and have a great day. 👍🏾🚙
Lets read the comments and see which one got the most likes and steal their comments
Dude you go all in that's amazing thanks for the informative video
You just cut a hole in your perfectly fine exhaust just to teach us. You the man 😂
Dude! Thank you. For years you have helped me so much with my cars!
I can't thank you enough for your honesty and generosity. Much, much much appreciated 👍👍
This is going to sound crazy the clamps make it look more sexy
Hey Chris, the video was very useful. Thanks for the great knowleadge and insight into (simple) DIY car fixes, always useful and appreciated! I was curious what your thoughts were across other topics of DIY fixes/Right to repair?
what we'd do without your help?!!
Thanks man!
This guy is a legend
TNX 4 VID LOL
Best video on YouTube for exhaust just one tip for the clump. Put some filler around the hole, then put the clamp on afterwards, put some filler around the rim of the clamp, and it will make an even stronger seal.
Who discounts a car over an exhaust leak?
Who would cut a hole in a good pipe just to demonstrate pipe repair?
Good video.
Hi CrhisFix, I was wondering if you had done a video on how to seal a small leak on a Plastic fuel tank.
That's a very good video. Thanks
This was very informative. Thank you😊
Hey Chris, I happened to come across your video, and I just wanted to let you know how much it helped me in my situation! So thank you so much and keep doing what you're doing.🤘💯🫡
Maybe you just need to thter up, .?
Why don't you just use soap water and start the car,.?
sorry but blowing air backwards into the exhaust is just a really horrible idea…. if anything gets into that engine its over, including rust pieces inside the exhaust….
If there was an academy award for the most useful video on YouTube, you'd win it Chris. Cheers mate 🍻
how long will this jb weld putty last once applied?
And it’s a V6 which is much cheaper. For those years are very reliable, good buy man.
