I show why is it important to not only fill your tires up to the correct pressure but also use the CORRECT AIR! Learn how to replace winter air, with summer air!
Most people know when filling your car or truck tries that you need to fill it to the correct air pressure. What people dont know, is the air that goes into the tires is just as important. Winter air is cold, dry, and dense, therefore heavy while summer air is warm, humid, and light. Running winter air in the summer will cause lower tire pressure and decreased fuel economy (mpg). Running summer tire in the winter, will cause loss of traction and over inflated tires which could lead to a blow out!

Summer or Winter, you still need to make sure that you fill your tires with at least 78% Nitrogen.
Hey Chris !! Thanks for the information..I put nitrogen gas in tyres round the year..Is that fine ? Thanks in advance ❤️Love from New Delhi ,India.
at the beginning i was like air is weightless and then watched the whole thing and was convinced. cant believe i just watched this whole video and believed it.
I came 5 year's later and come to this was a lie
Is winter and summer air??? Never in 16 years if driving heard that theory😂
No way there is a 9min video of winter air haha I bet someone watched the entire video to prove this is a thing and their are right 😂
This April fools video was still knowledgeable in the very least when it comes to learning how to remove the inner valve stem for a tire. 😂👍💯
Having the incorrect air pressure can result in a cold wheel! 🚂
OMG! Just fill your tires full of helium!
Can’t believe this guy figured out how to sell air and get rich, not to mention free promotion via YouTube.
I can't believe how irresponsible you are, just releasing all that contaminated air into the atmosphere like that. C'mon dude, we're in the 21st century now and recovery/recycle is the name of the game. At $13 a pop, changing out your winter and summer air with these cans is like watching your money vanish into thin air anyway. Yet, that is precisely what you're doing every time you perform this bit of maintenance using these cans. They're great to have around in an emergency or to do periodic top offs, but for biannual changeovers, they're wasteful, harmful to the environment and can be dangerous if you get distracted for just a second.
Be honest now… How many of you out there have either come really, really close or have actually put an eye out while removing the core from the valve stem? It isn't that hard to do. You crouch down, remove that little plastic cap, insert your valve core tool into the stem, you start unwinding it, you have it almost all the way out when suddenly, out of nowhere, here it comes… Your cat secretly and slyly waited for this exact second to decide it's time for you to pet him or her. He or she walks over all nonchalantly and rubs against your leg. In that very second that there's only one thread holding the core in, your attention is diverted and you reach over to pet him or her, and here it comes, the valve core comes flying at you so fast and under so much pressure that you don't even have time to react. Great, now you have this tiny hunk of metal lodged in your eyeball. The cat has already abandoned you because the job is done. It's in there real good and you don't dare blink. Time for the same ambulance ride to the ER that you took at the beginning of LAST year's changeover. The only good thing about this is that it's the same eye as last year.
For just $300, you could have bought yourself a winter/summer tire air recycling system. It works pretty much exactly the same way a refrigerant system works. The kit comes with two cans each of winter and summer air, one of each to be kept in the car, one of each to be kept in the garage, and one can of neutral air to prime the system the first time you use it. Using it is simple… There's a set of up and down buttons to adjust the system to automatically inflate your tire to the proper amount, there's a set of left and right buttons to change the season and a START/STOP button. It's really this easy… You plug the system into any 110 outlet, set the season and inflation pressure appropriately, connect the quick-disconnect chuck at the end of the hose onto your valve stem and press START. The system pulls a vacuum on the tire, adds or removes moisture to the air depending on the season, then inflates the tire to the proper pressure setting and beeps when it's done, and it does it all in less than five minutes per tire. After the third year, the system has paid for itself and from the fourth year on is when it saves you money.
Imagine someone not watching this to the end 😆
be sure to rotate the air in your tires!
I do a lot of off roading and need all the traction i can get so I run Arctic air in my rear tires and Himalayan air taken from the top of Everest in the front. It can be a little expensive having it all imported, but the extra performance is worth it. Plus it's a hell of a flex to be able to say that you have Himalayan air from Everest in your front tires. 😊
Dude did the car guy equivalent of rickrolling a whole bunch of shops
Tomorrow looking foward to see
Okay but was the valve core part true at least? I’m curious.
Crystal clear
Hi
i have actually believed this for years
i live in africa and apart from rain, nothing else changes all year, its a constant summer😭
Is there any issue taking the valve out in tpms vehicles?
lol Jason
i actually hate this 😭
I need my air changed or I will not be able to drive we aahhh
But, wait, what if it's warm in the winter where I live?
This is 4 years old? It feels like it was uploaded yesterday.
