Prosecutors in Lake County, Florida, allege Laurie Shaver killed her husband and buried him under a concrete slab in her backyard. Michael Shaver’s friends reported him missing in 2018 after not hearing from him for three years. Laurie had reportedly been impersonating her husband online and through text messages for months. Shaver’s defense team has pointed to alternate suspects for the killing, including the defendant’s own 7-year-old daughter. Shaver is charged with second-degree murder, domestic violence, and accessory after the fact in connection with Michael’s 2015 disappearance.

Trying to get the jury to have 'reasonable doubt' with the false testimony of the daughter. I hope they lock this nasty *itch up for the rest of her natural life. Divorce would have been a more reasonable answer. She was having an affair, got knocked up and he probably threatened to leave her. She's a sick, twisted narcissistic sociopath.

I don’t want to hear a single thing about supposed domestic violence done to this woman. Sometimes defense likes to pull at straws in cases like these and will attempt to make the actual victim look awful by claiming all sorts of abuse was done in an effort to claim ‘self defense’ to justify their actions.
And also, to pin it on your own 7yo is sick & enough evidence for me. Did the 7yo burry him under a slab too? These defendants don’t think past GO. It’s disgusting.
Check the facts before assumptions. This is going to be an interesting trial. Court records are public. The state was aware of the child’s involvement years ago, the media just didn’t publish it until 2023. There’s many records ofshootings, especially school shootings that have been done by young elementary kids. The daughter could have done it. There’s also information in this case that the boyfriend at the time had involvement and lawyered up the same time the daughter was appointed an attorney but no one’s talking about that.
The defendant’s attorney is slimy.
If the defendant claims in any way that the 7 year old daughter killed her husband then she needs to be charged as an accomplice after the fact with the involuntary manslaughter, abuse of a corpse, theft identity, and child neglect for allowing her 7 year old possession of a weapon with her testimony!!!!
Wow she is out on bond?? Go figure how did that happen and how much was her bond if anyone knows.

✨I love this case! So, some random dude and her 7 year old daughter shot her husband. Then, she left with the kids, and her husband's dead body somehow ended up buried in her backyard. She claims she had no idea how it got there 🤣 Then, she impersonated her dead husband for years through emails, telling his family to go away. She also married another man, exchanging vows in her backyard where her dead husband's body lay! Hurry up, and let's get this train wreck of a trial going⚖️
