  1. I am a 64 old widow & lost everything I had in my bank account for my mortgage & my bills. I want to combat this HORRIBLE CRIME. Wrote to Chairman gensler of SEC to abolish BITCOIN MACHINES. I set up a gofundme under "Sofia Chowdhury", hoping someone sees it God willing. I want to set up some organization like Mike Walsh & HELP SENIORS like me. Thank you for all your info. They had me deposit the money in Bitcoin & told me not to tell anyone because someone was trying to withdraw money from my account & had me download ANYDESK. You had posted same thing that is happening.

  2. Years ago, I was talking to some people that I was pretty sure were scamming me. They were finally selling me a security system that I suspected gave them access to my computer.
I am one to only use credit cards because of the security they give me. The first one I used, the guy said, was rejected. I thought, "Really?" I had to leave to pick my kids up from school. This was when the Microsoft scams first started. My kids were in grade school.
When I got back, I called Frontier, my phone company. Then I called the scammers back. I had 2 conversations going at the same time.
Needless to say, the girl in the internet security dept. walked me through dealing with the scammers. She set me up on a legitimate security plan. Those fraudsters ran the credit cards that they said would not go through, only to have the banks both call me in less than 24 hours. We had a good laugh over it, and they never paid those charges.
After that, I knew their shtick. I wish I was more computer literate, though. I have always enjoyed wasting the time of fraudsters. I could only go so far with these guys.
Now I tell them I retire and don't own a computer. It's much more fun watching you all, and my kids don't yell at me. Lol

  3. Losing one's savings especially at retirement age is the absolute worst thing that could happen to anyone. 😢😢😢😢😢

  4. I work in tech support for a large legit company and i get a call from people atleast once a week and not everyone is old. Some are young and they still get scammed or hackers get into their computer and we havr to get it out.
