  1. THERE NEEDS TO BE CAMERAS IN SPECIAL NEEDS CLASSROOMS!!! This is saddening! She literally was my daughters teacher last year and never had an inkling of anything, she was always so amazing to her or so I thought. I had moved out of state and was planning on coming back and was so excited to have her be with Ms raps again because the school here in kansas can't handle my severely autistic child and actually was hurting her so I pulled her out of that school to homeschool her until we get back to FL. This is crazy to me and sickening. I'm heartbroken. I'm legit scared to send my autistic child to any school now!

  2. I can't help but be reminded of the autistic young person that got jail time just recently for being physical with his teacher. My nephew is autistic and barely speaks, I am troubled by what I see in news these days concerning the autistic and teachers.

  3. As the mother of two special needs autistic children I can't even fathom why people are still sending their kids to public school. WHY? My kids are old older now but I took them out of public school when they were in Middle school. Best damn decision I ever made. And not only did my kids learn better on their own but they NEVER got sick again from being around nasty public school kids. I stopped getting strep throat. No more colds. No more flu. No more ear infections. Nothing.

  4. I remember being in a HS photography class and one of the teachers for a disabled student was berating him for making non verbal noises. The thing is us— the other students were not disrupted at all by his behavior. That lady was just mean and unqualified for the position of helping him learn.

  5. When a child is abused, we are horrified and angry, as we should be. I wish to add that, while many children have fewer resources than their peers, no child has enough strength, cultural experience, credibility, power and personal confidence to be dragged about, hurt, terrified, and so on, to understand and recover completely from being abused in this way. Think of your own most disturbing childhood experience with an adult, and then look deeper into yourself. I would bet you a dollar the pain, shame, fear and helplessness are still inside you, regardless of your own personal power as an adult.

  6. I could not get through this entire video. This EXACT thing was being done to the child in my then 10 year olds (now 23) special needs classroom. Myself and another mother complained, nothing was done. It was said to be “by their training”. This also was in Florida but in Pinellas County. I ended up pulling my son to home school, the school district then harassed me since back then homeschooling was not as well seen. I ended up moving to Wisconsin a few years later mostly due to the school system that said my son would never read or write above a 4th grade level.
That same child that is now 23, a union man making 4 times what I did at that age, no children and in a 3 year plus stable relationship. Oh yeah and he calls his momma every Friday to see if I need anything done at my house over the weekend before he makes plans with his friends.
Ok that last part was a long winded brag but yeah SUCK IT FLORIDA.
