The Lemon Lincoln MKC is Back for a 4 year update, and it seems like Ford has some seriously big problems when it comes to the longevity of their Ecoboost Engine. I’m kind of glad I got rid of the Focus RS now!

  1. i worked at a ford dealership in the service center, the number of cars that would come through for this was scary, and while its a service campaign, im very surprised there isnt a full recall on that engine

  2. That block was redesigned due to the reliefs cut between the cylinders in the block. The 1.5L only gets the short block. Why the 2.0L gets a long block I never got an answer for and no one really knows because they just put the new motor in and ship it. My guess is Ford had a problem with the head as well. Seen a ton of these done when I worked at a Ford dealer.

  3. We needed a car in emergency after an old lady rear ended us in a parking lot .
Her insurance refused to pay a rental more tgan 48 hours so we needed an other car!
We saw this 2011 honda pilot who will fit our needs he was at 172000 miles.we did a test drive and told them. Than he made a rattle sound very loud the dealer told us tgat's what normal she needed to get warm. Andvtge car was traded by the mechanic friend and well maintened and checked by this so call mechanic!
We paid 13000$ for it !!!
1 week later the alternator was dead then we brought it in a honda dealership they told us than the sound we heard was the timing belt he told us than the previous owner never changed nothing on it just basic maintenance old change and cheap after market break pads ! It cost us a total of 11000$ to keep in running on the road .and we can't to do nothing because they sell their cars as it is so we draining our savings in this lemon car ! And we have a loan on it so if we trading it for a new one it will be too much to afford 😢

  4. I am here after watching a video samrac made 6 years ago after talking to Steve lemon lawyer.

Here was about to buy a lemon Chevy Bolt EV 1 week ago. My gut told me I shouldn't after doing do research.

  5. Hey guys, I wonder if any of you can answer this:
    1. Is there any way to find information about a lemon car, like what was not fixable, etc …? (besides just what somebody says)
    2. Does a lemon car loses all warranty regardless of year and miles?
    3. A lot of lemon cars I see are only a couple thousands under the normal price (but often are on the lot for months). Is saving a couple thousands all you can get from those bad cars?
    4. Why are dealers selling so high their lemon cars and keeping them for months or more on their lot? (and not accepting low offers)

  6. I own the bluetooth Thinkdiag OBD II scanner for little over 1 month now and it all ready paid for it self. Cause my mom car had the engine light come on and I was able to tell her what the issue was even printed out a report. So she could show it to the car dealership.

  7. I have a 2017 ford mustang premium 302, it's been at the Ford dealer for 4 months now, it started with a vibration around 2000 to 3000 rpms and I immediately took it to ford to have them take a look at it, I did purchase an extended warranty when I purchased it with 7300 miles on it it now has 14300 miles on it and the car was sold as certified through ford I paid 46k with financing, they replaced the clutch and flywheel and the problem did not go away, the replaced the harmonic balancer and the problem did not go away and now they want to replace the whole engine long block since ford is short on their inventory for a small block but I applied for a buy back hopefully they can buy the car back

  8. Would NEVER buy a Ford vehicle as the quality of their overall designs does not exist. Really sad to see such a nice new vehicle with low miles need intense engine repair. Like the tire pressure sensor problem a little better placement along with a better connector solves the problem. Cost cutting is great but having inferior parts in critical places – this is what you get. So they saved maybe $0.30 on the cheaper connector in 4 places that is $1.20 saved but the head aches caused to customers will drive away business.
