  1. There are some possible drive off the cliff points going around the lake and at one point their is a section of the fence not put up even now when looking a street view. where you probably could drive a car through it and into the water or bottom of the hill. Part of the Ponderosa Scenic drive. Also, noticed some of the boat ramps seem to extend far out on the land to the water, so don't assume the boat ramp is too shallow as it extends out to the water. I've seen a few cars and trucks parked out there on what looks like sand cliffs. I hope he can be found.

  2. I empathize with the elderly. With animals we put them to sleep, pain-free. I'm getting up in years and tgere is such a thing as tired of living, especially if in chronic pain. Having to endure that day after day? That doesn't equalg having a quality life, or a life worth living. It's like the large number of people who are terminal who are forced to live out the rest of their lives in pain, all the way til the very end. If the sons did do it, they relieved their dad from more yearsof misery. Bravo to them.

  3. It definitely is ok to make that decision. I’m 53 in chronic pain, going into kidney failure, emphysema, etc. I should be able to make that decision also. I’m not ready to go yet, I have grandkids I want to see grow up…lol

  4. Everyone thinks Darwyn might have ended his own life. Not thinking maybe someone took/talked him into it because taking care of aging/severely in pain family member takes a lot of time & patience. We need to find out for Darwyn.

  5. I have an auto immune disease and when I get to where I can't do it anymore, I'm putting my driver's license and credit card in my pocket and driving west. To my best friend and a state where I can die by choice with compassion. Sounds like this man beat me to it.
