Maria Ximena Duarte, 45, is locked up in Miami-Dade County for allegedly plying a 15-year-old girl with alcohol and marijuana at a hotel pool before convincing her to come to her hotel room, where the teen was allegedly sexually assaulted. She faces serious charges, including human trafficking. Jason Mojica, Duarte’s boyfriend, was also arrested for his alleged participation. She didn't lure anyone. This is insane how corrupt law enforcement ,along with judges and prosecutors are.
Some of these comments are gross. Those allegations are too concrete to be lies made up by a 15 y/o. This young lady was assaulted and traumatized.
Her psychology degree can't save her. Under the law, she's a criminal. Period.

The brain is not fully developed till 26, the frontal lobe is not fully developed until 30 yrs old, emotional intelligence.
case in point: don’t do illegal things cause the cops will hit you with everything but the kitchen sink and you gotta find your way out of some of those harsher charges. our crooked and corrupt system loves to charge you with 30 charges on one crime hoping at least 15 charges will stick.

The trial attorney said kids brains stop developing or fully develop at the age of 18. That's not true. People's brains fully develop in their mid- 20s. Just wanted to throw that out there.

I truly hope she did not do that. Everyone that's making comments needs to wait for the trial. We don't know any of the details I hope that 15 year old was not touched by this Dr! If she was plying her with drugs and alcohol we don't know what happened truly of course you always believe the victim. I'm just saying you give a 15-year-old enough drugs and alcohol she could have passed out we just don't know all the facts. For her giving her alcohol and drugs is bad enough for that yes she should have been arrested she will probably lose her license because of that. But the more severe first-degree felony I truly hope that part is not true. I'm definitely going to keep up with the trial!!!!!
