Yeah, during my DUI stop, I asked the officer for a witness, possibly his supervisor to come to the scene, but he just laughed, drug me out of the car, tazed me, then beat the hell out of me.. Then threw me in jail where I stayed for a week because I couldn't afford bail, lost my job and my apartment, and I am now homeless….. Okay, that didn't happen. But I bet it would have if I had done the things this judge did…
The officers who let her go need to be fired Andrew and this judge needs to be disbarred fired whatever she doesn't need to be a judge they're all corrupt they would have taken anybody else to jail
Sorry to say , this is Texas law . Texas law enforcement. They don't hold strictly to the laws , state or federal. Lived there many years. Minorities are treated the exact opposite of this case . He said I could lose my job. I'll let it go . She has a problem and is dangerous. Texas law enforcement takes care of their own.

Its the worst sort of Criminal Offence, its Obstruction of Justice by a Justice Official. Its cops obstructing justice, its a gross betrayal of trust. As John said, it raises the question of just what Quid Pro Quo goes on as a result.

Oh, this is nothing. Ive seen it for myself over and over, in high income neighborhoods, cops will DRIVE the rich guy back to his home and another cop buddy follow or get him and return him to his car…or they let a drinker go if their home is close enough to where they got pulled over and they usually take their under age drinking kids, even if passed out in their back seat, or really buzzed in the back seat, they often just take them home. Have a nice night! Youre welcomed! No problem.
All involved should lose their jobs & not be allowed to work in law enforcement or for the judicial system again.

Our Sheriff recently pleaded guilty to misdemeanor speeding and fleeing a traffic stop,
I believe these charges were politically motivated,
But he was still re elected as Sheriff , inspite of this charges.
He felt it would be a waste of the justice system to dispute this charges.
They had no evidence that he was even the one driving
If you're going to drink alcohol or another intoxicating substances, including prescription medications,
DONT DRIVE AT ALL, NO MATTER HOW YOU FEEL!
Because once you start you no longer have sound judgment!
At the very least, they should of given her a ride home or call a ride for her!
