Jackson County, Tennessee authorities have added additional charges in the case of a mother and daughter who allegedly used multiple toxins to try to kill Harold Allen, apparently succeeding in December 2022. Marsha Allen, 52, was found dead of an apparent suicide when police caught on to the alleged scheme. Her daughter, 30-year-old Ashley Jones, was jailed on charges of murder and attempted murder. A a veterinarian I want to also share that most people know Ethylene glycol only by it's common name "Coolant". Ethylene glycol is the main component of car/air coolants, and one of the products which cause most deaths by intoxication on pets (since they drink all of it) once the owner spread some of it, for the exact reason she mentioned of its sweetness, Just an info for every owner..
Most people are unaware of Ethylene glycol properties, and for such reasons it's one of the substances more used by people at the time of trying to commit murder by poisoning without traces.
