On the evening of February 12, 2023, Edmond Exline was walking alongside Interstate 81 outside of Martinsburg, West Virginia. A West Virginia State Trooper approached Edmond and immediately pulled his firearm and pointed it at Edmond. He then switched to a taser and pushed Edmond into the highway and chased him against a concrete barrier. The trooper then repeatedly tased Edmond and called for backup. Two additional West Virginia State Troopers arrived on the scene and immediately began to physically attack Edmond.

  2. My son was assaulted by 6 or more police in my home. He was beat tased suffocated injected with an unknown substance. My son was tased three different ways he was tased with the barbs he was Drive tased dozens upon dozens of times and he was tased with a high voltage baton. At the same time they were putting the Carotid artery pressure they were sitting on him and they were shoving his face into a plastic bag. Lake Havasu City, Mohave County. My son survived. Doctor said he is fvcked.

  3. I will still give cops the benefit of doubt that they are, in majority, good, honest police. But I will never put them all on pedestals, nor afford them unequivocal trust.

  4. There's a fine line between de-escalation and full blown deadly force. We as law enforcement need a change in the way we are initially trained at the academy level. As a Florida LEO… with over 3 decades after experience… I can tell you this… if I have a reasonable idea who a person is, and it isn't a forcible felony or something that I am required by law to take an individual into custody… I won't use physical force to take a person into custody. I simply forward the case to the prosecutor. If the State wants to prosecute the crime, they will issue a warrant for that person's arrest. Let them walk if they aren't an imminent threat to anyone.

  5. There needs to be a law…. that when somebody dies due to a police interaction… results from an internal investigation are not acceptable.

An external investigation NEEDS to be the protocol

  6. Who was the asshole who called in the first place too? I'm from France and I really am shocked at how it's apparently illegal to WALK in the US. As soon as you're not in a car and walking by the side of the road, boom you're a criminal.
Here in France I've been living in rural areas and was one of the rare persons to not have a car, so I used to walk 2km by the side of the road leading to the next village/small town, and no one ever called the cops on me, not even in night time. I can't believe this…

  7. Innocent??????????? Your the most idiotic lawyer.DURING A STOP YES YES YES YOU COMPLY WITH COPS ORDER!!!! THEY DONT KNOW IF HE HAS A GUN!!!
SO WHEN HE DOESNT COMPLY…REACHES FOR HIS POCKETS YESSSSS HIS FAULT

  8. What a complete psychopath. Completely absolutely uncalled for. Zero crime, zero probable cause, zero anything which according to cop logic is a death sentence. Disgusting. Ellis murdered an innocent man.
