From the case brought it sounds like Severt did have a body cam but didn’t turn it over. Could be that it’s just highlighting that he had a cam and should have been wearing it. Called spoilation so might not matter if he destroyed the evidence or not.
Sounds like the police chief Gray knew that Severt, Leftwich and Jones were going to Harass Yearout.
Severt also testified that he was trained that he could arrest someone for saying “get the f… out of my yard” and had done so in the past.
I hope this isn’t settled for a small amount just to cover the lawyers costs.
