Virginia's FOIA law exempts from disclosure more than it permits. It started off pretty good,. But over many years (decades, really) every time Virginia has been embarrased by another investigative report in the news media, the General Assembly makes whatever embarrased them exempt from disclosurem in the next legislative session. Just look at the law. 90% of it is a continually growing list of documents that are EXEMPT from disclosure. FOIA should not be allowed to be unreasonably redacted. I can understand last names and addresses but everything else should be visible.

There was no initial investigation by the contact lead officer. He only listened to one side. No follow up of the accusers claim of a video, no search of the office, no questioning of how the item just reappeared, just arrest, yes the lying little cop said James was under arrest and cuffed him. Can anyone trust this cop?
