7. The issue is a civil suit and/or public relations kickback. Cops (me) are told that bad PR has quashed more legit arrests than good lawyers. Itsounds like this may have been one of those things.

   I popped a drunk one night after he lead me on a high dpeed chase, pulled of the road and laid down in the seat in the parking ng lot of a bar. I snagged him anyway. He was fired, (he was in a marked company truck) but the guy
   had some pull with a Republican Party big shot who had pull with the sheriff. I was called into his office where the big shot ripped me a new one. I didn't cave and the went to jail. A couple of months later the sherrif found something else to kick me to the curb. Again, a mom complained that I threatened her 18 year old kid for
   pointing a loaded rifle at officers. So, when the sherrif id elected he is not always as a touhh a crime fighter as his is advertised.

8. There are plenty of good cops out there. A lot more good than bad, I truly believe that, but this guy is an utter psychopath. He probably beats his wife and I'm unfortunately not joking when I say that…. If he can do this to a petite highschool girl going 7 mph over the speed limit and not being fast enough to retrieve her ID, than there's absolutely no doubt in my mind that he physically abuses his family as well. And shame on his police department for defending his conduct!!

25. I had a cop testify and LIE UNDER OATH contradicting his OWN POLICE REPORT and the judge dismissed the case on HIS TESTIMONY. NOW the pd is refusing to give me ANY body cam footage ( Saying they don't have to because they ONLY wear them for training and OFFICER SAFETY NOT THE PUBLIC!! )or copies of the reports. 35. The thin blue line's original meaning was law enforcement (those in blue) were a line line of officers protecting society from anarchy. It's other meaning was that we protect each other no matter what. I believe in the first meaning and I am repulsed by the later. A dirty cop is a dirty cop. As to this officer being sworn again by another department, we need a nation law that ensures any officer that has been de certified and terminated for excessive force or some other some other crimial behaviors should be in a national data base and barred from ever being a law enforcement officer. Protect and serve. That's the job, not the other way around.
