The crime was Resisting Arrest, a misdemeanor at this point. It could be upgraded depending on what a search turns up. Rember, you do not have a right to operated a motorvehivle. It is a privilsge granted by the state in which you live. As such, you do not have a right to refuse an officers legitimate instructions while operating a vehicle.
Hooliganism is obviously allowed in the USA when the hooligan wears the word "police" on his back.
There are plenty of good cops out there. A lot more good than bad, I truly believe that, but this guy is an utter psychopath. He probably beats his wife and I'm unfortunately not joking when I say that…. If he can do this to a petite highschool girl going 7 mph over the speed limit and not being fast enough to retrieve her ID, than there's absolutely no doubt in my mind that he physically abuses his family as well. And shame on his police department for defending his conduct!!

I sincerely appreciate your efforts to expose the overreach of police officers! Like I will always say there is good and bad in all aspects of public service! However, this one was over the top and needed to be put out to the public! Acts of violence by police has been a problem in the past and should be addressed when power supersedes the law!
