  1. Looks like in this case the whiney Earp brothers got spanked and did the walk of shame. The Lexington officer needs to push away from the dinner table at least five days a week.

  2. They're all asses. Both Sheriff and Chief are supposed to work together to screw over the citizens, not each other. Better be careful or they'll start violating each others rights rather than regular peoples. What will happen if they are to busy fighting each other and neglecting their time honored tradition of violating our rights. Testosterone and egos out of control.

  3. In Lexington the sheriff is the constitutional elected official who derives his authority via the Kentucky constitution. The local police via state statute. Constitutional power is higher than statutorial authority.

  4. I will go with pd even though the Sherrif did take SOME de-escalatory action, I'm from oklahoma and in general think Sheriffs here don't quite view themselves as much little kings the way they do in some points further west and southwest, however they sure are aware of the concept and tend to wanna be more like those guys.

  5. I came here to see a fight, is this your definition of a fight? Damm if that's the case I'd hare to be in your shoes. All this was a group of officers of the court set tripping ready to start slapping, pinching and pulling hair like lil girls while hear the words you b¡tch for about 4 minutes.

  6. While both the Lt. and the officer who confronted the Lt. need diplomacy classes, County supercedes City and while the courteous thing is to notify if not invite City to participate, the county still has jurisdiction over the City and the City should obey all lawful commands issued by the Sheriff through the City Chief. That's COC and the way it is supposed to work. The city is ethically wrong by trying to obstruct the County's duty. County Lt. was wrong for trying to escalate the situation to physical confrontation.
