Kalyna Young, 21, faces several charges including attempted murder and child abuse after sheriff’s deputies said she intentionally drove her car into a lake with her two-year-old daughter inside. Witnesses saw the car and Young and her daughter in the water and sprang into action. Deputies said Young gave an explanation for her actions. I’ve noticed a lot of girls in Washington county(Johnson city) depend on their looks to get them by in that city and having a child messed up the vibe….. 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️ I’ve seen it several times there while I was in school at ETSU…literally what happened in Sullivan county with evie case I believe and the crazy thing is I dated (not bf/gf, but lots of dates and etc. the guy hunter wood back in 2016, he gave me extremely weird vibes.. and something tells me i know he knew something wasn’t right smh.

I suffer from severe depression and anxiety and I had severe postpartum depression after my second child, but I dang sure wouldn't try to commit premeditated murder of my children. Wth??? I call bs on using her supposed mental health issues for what she did. SHE MADE A PREMEDITATED CHOICE TO TRY TO KILL. She could have given her child to her family or child services or something, but trying to kill the child was wrong and she needs jail time and to no longer be able to have children.

So this is awful that this mother did this. However, she clearly needed help. If no one knew this, then I guess it's gone unnoticed. If anyone was aware, this mother had been let down by professionals. No way would I ever harm my child. I would throw myself infront of a bus to save my child. Now, don't get me wrong, there are evil parents out there who are totally sane and hurt their children. There are also women who desperately need mental help. Thank goodness this little baby girl is safe and well.
