  1. In the operating room we verify as a team the procedure and patient 4 times. The first time before we set up the room, the second time when the patient enters the surgical suite, t, the third time when the doctor enters the room, and the fourth time before the first incision is made, on (it's called "Time Out") with emphasis on limbs. There are also several other times that the procedure and patient are verified on a one-on-one basis.Verification is done when checking in with the clerk, when the pre-op nurse meets the patient, the doctor checks in with the patient in pre-op, Anestesia in pre-op, and with the OR Nurse in pre-op. So 3 times as a team, and 5 times with individual face to face verification. Why don't the PIGS do the same. Verify at there huddle, verify in front of the said address and verify by actually matching the house number to the warrant. Give every member of the team a copy of the warrant to verify that everyone knows, not just the team leader. That is why in the OR we do it as a team, not just one person reading off a chart. Everybody has their part in the verification process and it is done verbally by each team player. Do surgery mistakes still happen, Yes, however the number of wrong patient wrong sites have dramatically been reduced as more and more facilities implemented "Time Out". This actually happened about 10 years ago, but now, every facility is mandated by the GOvernment to perform "Time Out".

  2. That should be a charge, but the thin blue line gang gets immunity for their criminal activities. Informants aren't reliable because they're trying to get themselves out of trouble

  3. The WV police might want to rethink how they clear a location. Neither one cleared the closet at the top of the stairs and the door was part way open. They didlook behind the door or in the closet of the bedroom either.

  4. I had cops in my barn on my property they broke a door open looked around in barn with flashlights inside coolers etc .never notified me or said why so I called cop shop asked lady why and what they were looking for they said it involved a neighbor dispute .I asked what dispute they said a minor was involved they can't say .I asked what my barn had to do with it and lady got snippy with me .don't you want a safe neighborhood she said .I said I don't want my property secretly searched by police I never would have known about it if I didn't have to hidden trail cameras in the barn to catch intruders.they didn't care.

  5. man. remember when cops wore police uniforms? they carried a flashlight, a baton, and a pistol. and a whistle. and they did cop things. do they even make those police hats anymore? or are we just balls deep in army play-pretend now?

  6. This is North Korea now guns in your face in every contact wrong address on purpose want to argue with you so the real perp gets away. In fact if you call them which is the dumbest thing you can do. If they don't show their probably across the street arguing with someone about why he's got a gun in your face

  7. I guess I can legally break down the door to any house I want now, with a gun drawn, and "investigate" anything I want, as long as I thought it was my friend's house at the time. Gee, my bad. i really thought it was a different house, I half assed checked if it was the right one. I should also face no charges, right? Nope? Just the idiots, I mean people, that were given training, and are in charge of making sure laws aren't broken, get to break them for absolutely no reason at all? Strange "logic" that.
