10. More and more of this going on. We need to report any suspicion of abuse in neighbors or family members. I know for a fact these beautiful babies dying have grandparents aunts and uncles that are not reporting the abuse or investigating. Honestly it's partially your fault if you're not telling or calling DCFS or authorities on suspicion of any abuse with any family members or neighbors. 19. What state is this? I know the age of consent is 16 in some states.
    And some have caveats like a maximum age difference.

    But I certainly don’t think they allow 8 years apart with that stipulation.
    It’s more for something like an 18 year old dating a 16 year old (a senior in high school dating a sophomore,) which is quite common.

24. We need Octavia's law in every state. It should been a law long ago. If you know someone has a warrant and you don't let authorities in your house and they're in there, you get charged… You should definitely be charged if you see or know or even suspect a child is being abused and you don't report it

30. We were family friends with this one family growing up. We use to see them all the time. Then with time we slowly stopped seeing them. It wasn’t until my mom told me that one of their foster children was life flighted to the children’s hospital did I know why. My mom called and reported them to CPS multiple times. Even called our own case worker we use to have (I’m adopted). They didn’t do anything till the girl was in a coma in the hospital weighing less than 25 lbs at 5 yes old.
